I have worked on a shrimp boat and now I am watching the deckhands sit on little chairs and pick the shrimp out of the catch from the nets by hand.. One by one by one..
If I were to invent a machine you could just dump the net's catch into that would automatically separate the shrimp from the bycatch.. would that be something that would be of value to the industry and make me rich? Or is there another reason other than no one has figured out how yet, that it has not been invented and produced for sale to shrimp boat owners? They wouldn't buy it or need maybe? It seems it would cut labor cost.. IDK
